The most commonly asked question about the NHS Pension is ‘how can I get an estimate of my benefits?’ It’s good to know what you can expect to receive when you retire, so you can plan around this.
The answer is to access your Total Reward Statement. This includes an estimate of your NHS Pension benefits at your normal pension age.
You can register for Total Reward Statements or log in if you have already registered at www.totalrewardstatements.nhs.uk.
Total Reward Statements are refreshed annually between August and October for the previous financial year. If you require any other estimate of your NHS Pension benefits or your TRS does not include your NHS Pension benefits and you are currently employed by the NHS, contact your employer. If you are not currently employed by the NHS, contact NHS Pensions directly via http://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/Pensions.aspx.
On receipt of your statement if you require personalised advice on your retirement planning please contact Richard Higgs on 0117 966 5699 or email@example.com
